Listening to what our pupils say is important to us. It not only lets us know what we’re doing right, but what we can can do better…
We regularly talk to our pupils about their school and their learning through pupil voice interviews, informal chats and assemblies which reflect on the year. Several times a year, parents and carers can come into class and their children can talk to them about their books, learning and classroom environment. We call this our ‘Open House’, and we welcome everyone in to have a look around.
Each Friday afternoon, six children - one from each class - is chosen by their teacher to spend ‘Time in with the Headteacher’. This is a great opportunity for pupils to find their voices and chat with Mrs Barker about anything they wish, whilst enjoying mindful activities such as Lego, colouring or jigsaws.
What do you think about…?
